Do you have these "visitors" often?

GOOD SHOT, THEIR OUT AND HUNGARY! 3 BEAR SIGHTINGS IN TRAVERSE CITY THIS PAST WEEK END AND ONE RAIDED OUR TRASH 3 TIMES AND BENT A STEAL POLE HOLDING OUR BIRD FEEDER. THE DNR TRAPS THE BEARS AND RELOCATES THEM BUT THEY COME BACK!

Mom said one came on the porch. We mainly see deer, rabbit's and squirrels. I hope Mr Bear kept on going.

ALMOST 200 ACRES OF OUR STATE LAND SURROUNDING OUR PROPERTY WAS TOOK OVER BY A PRIVATE PERSON IN A SECRETIVE TRADE DEAL. MOST OF US KNEW NOTHING ABOUT UNTIL SIGNS WERE POSTED NO TRESPASSING PRIVATE PROPERTY! THE ANIMALS ARE BEING PUSHED OUT OF THEIR ENVIRONMENT. TRAVERSE CITY IS THE FASTEST GROWING CITY IIN MICHIGAN ALSO
SURROUNDING AREAS.

That would've been exciting to see the bear. I've been surprised at how many go into people's backyards. They are so big!

I seen it again yesterday watching me and Odie. I grabbed Odie and ran in the house!

I have read that if one handles oneself right, avoiding meeting their gaze and other things, that they will treat a man as a "super bear" and not attack - but I am not sure that I would do that right.
As for their going into backyards that is no surprise as long as there is food.
I read that out west they sometimes will climb up a house, lift an open window, climb inside through the window, and then find food in the house if I have it right.
I have heard of a bear being sighted not far from Watertown. Please keep your eyes open. I have only so many opponents at Goldtoken.

I heard or read about a pioneer woman who had water boiling tossing it at a bear or into its face. Hopefully you won't need to defend yourself.

I think my alarm will scare it off if it tries to break in the house lol
I don’t throw out any food because I’m surrounded by woods but not sure about the neighbors up the road.
