I read your memory about your mom making fudge. It just tugged at my heart! We didn't make fudge in our family, but I surely can remember key men (and women!) in my family doing all kinds of different things. Including baking!
Yours is a warm memory of pleasant times, and I hoped I could see the lady who shared just that memory. And here you are, lovely lady! Thanks so much.

Thank you Richard, I think you must have read my mind because I had written at the end-I miss my Mom- but deleted that part. I was raised in my younger years in a Coal Camp and that candy was a big deal for us. Mom would make it in her cast iron skillet then open the window and set it on the sill to cool. After cutting we would scrape on that old skillet for hours. We didn't have much but they were wonderful years full of love and happiness. I'm glad that you have those memory's as well.
