Re:
Thank you! She does look cross quite a lot but I'm putting down to her age, or maybe it's just how she looks!

Re:
my black cat is always throwing evil looks around also. I have a hard time sleeping, so I am on strong sleeping pills. One of the side affects is "sleep walking, talking, cooking, driving" anything you would do when you are awake, except your asleep. Apparently when I am sleeping, if you come to my place and talk to me, I don't remember it. I woke up one day to this big, black cat in my room. I go to pet it and it attacks me. Bit me, clawed me... I didn't know who he was or where he came from. I asked the motel manager and she told me she had brought the cat to me the day before. I told her it was evil and didn't like me. She told me that the people that had previously had him abused him. So I felt sorry for him and kept him. it took him 2 months to trust me. now he sits with me and lets me pet him. but sometimes (at least once a week), he will regress back to his previous self. Usually when we are playing hard, and will attack me again. I learned to just tell him it is okay and continue to pet him and he will come out of it. No one that comes over can pet him though. If a man walks by my motel room window, even if he is clear across the room, he knows it and will start growling and will jump into the window.

Re:
Wow you have done really well with your cat and I'm glad that you have him now, so sad to think that he was mis-treated before he came into your care. My cat still lashes out at the tabby but I don't see things changing now - they have never fought thank goodness.

Re:
My two fight big time. It starts out as playing, but they get into it so much, they end up getting really mad at each other and each attacking the other pretty bad. They both have claws, I always check them out to make sure there is no bleeding or anything. The one that usually bleeds is me. My arms were so bad, from me playing with them, and then Jasper (the black one), wanting to attack me by clawing and biting. My arms and hands were covered. My DR even said something. I thought she thought I was trying to do something. I told her it was all cat related.

Yes, when I found out he was abused, I could not send him away again, to possibly have the same thing happen. I was just hoping that eventully he would warm up to me. He did. He's so funny. He even trusts me so much that he will lay on his back with this legs spread apart... just chillin' on the floor. I don't think he has felt that oomfortable in a long time.

I took some photo's last night. will try to get the on my computer so I can post them. I lost everything I own, except for a few clothes and my laptop. Then my laptop broke down, the hard drive got corrupted. The one thing I was originally glad for was that I had my pictures and document and stuff like that on my computer, since I lost the actual ones. Well when my hard drive went kapoot, I lost them all too.

I don't have the equipment I normally have, but I will try to find someone to get the pics off the phone. You will not believe how much they look alike

Re:
My black cat just hisses at Meg and sometimes looks like she is going to attack but always runs away at the last minute...it's quite funny!
Meg likes to bite and scratch me too but in a friendly way, there's definitely no malice in it just playing, she'll probably grow out of it as she gets older.
Seems like your cat totally trusts you now, especially if he is letting you rub his tummy!

Sorry to hear that you lost your possessions that's a horrible thing to happen.
I do look forward to seeing your pics though and seeing how alike they are!

Re:
thanks. I think my cat does it in malice. You can be playing and when he attacks you, if you say no or something and quit playing with him, he will get this evil look on his face, come right at you and swat you big time with his claws out and gets you again. He does this purposely, you can tell he knows what he is doing when he does it.

I tell him, "what have I ever done to you to deserve this". lol

Everyone keeps telling me to get rid of him, but I just cant. Him being passed around from person to person isn't helping with him getting used to people and trusting them.

Re:
I'm so glad you aren't listening to the people telling you not to keep your kitty, I totally agree that he needs some stability in his life and needs to be able to trust you, and it seems like he is getting there.

Re:
yea, there is NO way I will ever give him up. He's been through to much. He finally trusts me and likes me. That would just be cruel to put him somewhere else and have him frightened and traumatized all over again. Plus I think he is afraid of men. If that is the case what is the probability of him going somewhere with no man living there or visiting.
