Thanks, as I look up about it, I found it wasw built before 1716. That was the year the building first showed up on the "tax Rolls". Imagine, Spain taxed Florida way back then.

The anchor was added in 1937 to keep it from being blown away by any hurricanes that might come along.

To the best of my knowledge it is. It was a home 1st, then the owner turned it into a school. There is a seperate kitchen building and grounds where they had a garden.
