Our Campground Under Water
They thought the whole town would flood but despite a hole in the levee, it held. Only reason is because another town flooded, releasing some of the flood waters.

No, but they are expecting spring rains and not sure if there are funds to have the levee fixed. So it will be a wait and see situation.

and....as { Player: Cats Galore } says, better that than homes. They came close to losing their homes around there.

Devastating! I recently watched a special about the flood of 37 and how it destroyed so much in Portsmouth, Ohio- it was a miracle that no one lost their life. Hope for the best in the months to come.
