Wow!!!

I went to the Asheboro Zoo for the 1st time last June. The Polar Bear was my favorite. I loved how he/she did tricks coming up and out of the water. It's hard to believe how smart they are, and how large they are.

The chimps were also cool. The day I went, there were several that were fighting with each other. Very fun time. Just so dang hot!!

I loved that Zoo also! I never dreamed the Polar Bear was going to pop up in front of me like that. lol We watched the monkeys a long time too because the little one was getting picked on and they were fighting.

Good times. I would recommend that zoo to anyone in the area.
My son had to play a baseball tourney in the Charlotte area so we sorta made a vacation out of it while we were in NC.

Great photos...I remember seeing a polar bear in london zoo as a child it was in a square white box and just paced back wards and forwards from end to end, obviously in stress and with nothing to do....

aw..that's sad. This one had lots of room..cave to sleep in and water to swim in. It was well taken care of
