Re: Anhinga
Great photo's!!...I just noticed how different shaped this is to the photo before..Cormorant...almost two ends of a spectrum neck length, tail length.. A Cormorant, diving for fish bird, this I imagine picking insects etc from shallow water..OH,and some think dinosaurs did not disappear but evolved into birds,I I think that baby white egret (not sure of its name but its in a nest with its mum) has the face of a dinosaur for sure,a dinosaur that's just seen a ghost Smiling Great photos!!

Re: Anhinga
I think you for enjoying my photos. The Comorant and the anhinga both eat fish. I haven't seen either "dive for fish" What I have seen both do is swim under the water, chasing fish and catching them, then come to the surface and try to swallow them. I've also seen a comorant catch a snake(what kind I don't know) and have it for a lunch. If you ever see that happening you will be surpprised at their Patience. They toss it around until they can catch it by the head or tail and gulp it down.
