about the mix up. The mid Month I usually post mid Month around the 15th of the month. I was working on it and posted it by mistake. I removed it as soon as I could. Watch for it around the 15 of the month.

I've had a message appear which is like the club/site wide messages - from hoot I think. It mentions mid month games and appears to be site wide but I can't seem to find a link to find out more. I assume this might be a club message incorrectly published? Else a link is missing? Just checking really - it's not a big deal but might be a problem for the club who has posted it (if it is a club!)

No, I don't think it's a big deal. Once you figure out how to play the game then you know how to play the game. You have played quite a few games from your profile. So you know.

A quick look at Google and all the boards shown have circles there, so seems a graphical error

I am not really sure where to post this question.
I have just started playing Nine Men Morris and did not realise you could place pieces on the corners of the inside square as there are no circles there.
All the other places to put your pieces have these little circles.
Is this normal in Nine Men Morris Rules or is it something that should be corrected by the graphics team?

Your invites won't show in the open invite section, but it should be listed in your unaccepted invites at bottom of gamesheet

I have made open invites, and never see my own open invite. I don't think you can see your own open invite.

I have been asked how to send an open invitation. I thought it would be sent just as any other invitation but just don't put anything in the opponent's name box (Leave the opponent's name blank to allow anyone to join the game). However, after doing this and completing the process the open invitation isn't showing up on my gamesheet under open invitations. What am I doing wrong?

Why was there no round 2?

Whether the scoring for the tournament is correct or not, surely the penalty points should be reflected in the final score? Or made visible in some other way? That would at least make the tournament scoring more understandable. Just a suggestion as from the posts I must admit it does not seem easy to understand.

To win the game, a player needs to place all tiles in the hand to the board. As soon as someone manages to do this, the game is over and this player is a winner. Placement of the remaining players is decided by the value of tiles left in their hands - each numbered card incurs as many penalty points as its number is, while Jokers incur 30 penalty points

So I guess you had more penalty points and came last, as Mecir pointed out in bug reports

I see nothing about "penalty points" anywhere in Rummikub. The final score of the game in question being stinky malinky 620,me 434,NEUROTIKA 0 makes it hard to imagine any such points possibly making a difference

Did you finish 2nd in both though? As the final scores don't show the penalty points it's hard to tell

Posted 2 different places on this & have yet to receive a relevant response: "I'm a bit confused about the scoring of game #14445187. Stinky Malinky won & of course received 3 points. I finished with 434,and Neurotika finished with 0,yet she received 1 point and I got a zero. Just can't see how that could be -has to be a bug,right? 434 IS higher than 0 I believe" The result is that tho I have finished 2nd in both games I only have 1 point-only matters if I win the 3rd game,as an outright win would turn into an undeserved share with the player who received "my" point

When you saved GT to your Favorites , did you do it while the game sheet was open or a game open???

This only gets me to "take me to next game" option after making a move. I'm talking about when I open up my GT I'd like that page to be my Game Sheet

I don't know you - we must play different games, but I am so sad to read this. I am sad about your cancer diagnosis and I really hope if what I understand correctly from your message that they have caught it early and hopefully can recover well. I am even more sad if you decide to leave Goldtoken for other reasons. I have no idea of what has happened. Just know that there are a lot of good people here and that I personally hope, if GT is in any way a good distraction , or whatever, you might stay.
I wish you, a stranger to me, all the best whatever you decide. You must put yourself first and I wish you well. I hope the best for you. If leaving GT is right for you go forwards with the support of many of us here.

I've been a member here a very long time.
I just wanted to let everyone know I won't be back I've got cancer and I'm with someone that's helping me through this.
She's helping me out a lot I could not do this without her prostate cancer took my dad he was 80 when he passed away a know because that caught this early ill be fine but because of a lot of doubtful friends I decided to leave Gold token and not return.
I've enjoyed my time here but one friend decided to not to believe in me God bless you all and thanks for the many hours we played games together I won't be back

I'm with you. I was able to limit some by selecting/unselecting these in my graphic options:

Display player icons next to their name
Select this option if you wish to see graphical name icons next to player names.

Hide name icons taller than text.
Select this option if you do not want to see name icons that are taller than regular text.

Hide name icons from the game sheet.
Select this option if you do not want to see name icons on the game sheet, but still want to see them elsewhere.

Hi all, As with this discussion board goldies are now appearing on games - I am finding this visually very disrupting and making games to be almost unplayable as it is hurting my eyes/brain. Is there a way to de-select this new option? I would mind a lot less if they weren't moving but the constant movement is very trying.

I know there are many with more wins and totals than I, but still- Wow!

I don't normally notice when I reach a new total - a token appears to tell me I've hit a new milestone on tournaments or games played. But for some reason I;ve noticed that I've reached 20,000 games played but I've not received a token. Is it simply that the trigger for a token is only periodically reviewed by the system so I just need to be patient? Or am i looking at the wrong figure on my game sheet? Not an earth shattering a problem but I am curious now I have noticed! Thanks for any insight

Oh looks like she was very active on the site. I just saw I had game history with her though not since 2017. It's always sad when a player passes. At least someone on GT was notified. Otherwise I guess nobody would ever really know.

It is rather tedious to view all your profile tokens and compare them to the one's being offered for a new event.

I thought I noticed movement as well.

I agree. The tokens move around. You can look at a profile and say, "that token is 3 over & 4 down". But you go back and it's moved.

I wonder which of my 273 tokens I got lastly. I have no idea as they're clearly not in any chronological order. I wonder how possible to have them listed thusly.

click on the ladders page, up top it says 'go to fast ladders'

How do we get to the fast ladders page? I didn't know we had fast ladders.

I think this is a bug affecting all Fast Ladders. If you navigate to the Fast Ladders page and then find the Fast Connect 6 Ladder you should see that you are on there and are either matched or waiting to be matched on Rung 1.
If you aren't visible by going that route to the ladder then its a new/different bug.

I just joined yesterday and instead of matching me with someone on the first rung it's linking me to my regular C6 ladder game.
