All elected government officials must abide by any law or mandate they impose on those who elected them. For example:

They must have the same healthcare plan they mandate for the people.
They must send their children to public schools in the area they live in.
This would lead to the greatest and most rapid improvement in our healthcare and education systems in history! lol
