I have had 4 'Kings' and I am sure 4 pawns here and there.
also 2 Kings and 2 pieces many times.
low rollouts and double 5's do not help you in a race.
we were taught that Backgammon is a game of hitting and racing.
The Best Defense Is A Good Offense, and
the Best Offense is A Good Defense;
This is also in Martial Arts with
Time, Space, and Position.
hope this helps because those moves are out there.
I play daily with seeing these moves all the time, with the opponent getting doubles after doubles.
you have to see ahead.
KINGSLAYER had a good comment for that.
"I do what I can do, this is all I can do".
