Out of curiosity I quit taking the draw every return, and started playing my tiles whether the other side did or not. Here's a game where they only drew, but I played them out in the end. And I've been playing pieces all along. Game 15027791 don't play all your pieces when somebody only draws, but hold some in reserve. Especially when you hold two matching numbers of the same color, keep one in your hand. Don't play it until the very end. It works very well.
