LumberJill, you have a Ladder game going. Look at the Help box below the game, it says:
This is game #14585939. It has a time limit of 2 days per turn. If a player fails to make a move in time, that player forfeits the game. Vacation days and days off are ignored. The next move must be made within 1 day 17 hours to avoid a timeout.
You are in a site tournament. That information is on the page where you sign up.
The Backgammon (3 Point) Competition in The Nov 2024 — 3-week round robin — SLOWPOKE Tournament
The time limit is 2 weeks 1 day per move, and a player will forfeit the game if a move is not made in time
