Raging Slab are a southern/boogie rock band with metal and punk influences. Go listen to them, I suspect you'll like them.

I would suggest you try their 5th album Dynamite Monster Boogie Concert from which Ain't Ugly None is the final track.

My (at the time) girlfriend took me to see them live and I had no idea who they were or what they were like, and I came to the obvious conclusion that they are pretty good.
