This one is from 1981, a blend of Western pop and Indian instrumentation. It reached No. 12 in the UK charts but was not released in the US.
The lead singer, Sheila Chandra, went on to release several albums of world music and minimalistic voice/drone music. She sadly had to retire in 2009 when she was diagnosed with an illness called Burning Mouth Syndrome which generally forces her to live a life as a recluse.
