This is a fun board for planned and unplanned contests and games. There will be prizes of Golderos, tokens, or a personal token picked especially for you from me in some instances. You might even get your name up on this very board!

Players will only be eligible to win a prize after
contests, instead of
, unless otherwise specified, ie..if you've won a contest, you will have to wait to enter until
have been run and won. *Random contests where guesses are posted on the board will change to
guesses allowed, per day, so other players will also have a better chance at having access to the contests. One entry for voting contests, please. Please Note: Repeat entries will not be used. Thank you for your understanding of these guidelines.
.
There will not be a lot of rules but I do ask PLEASE do not solicit votes from other members and PLEASE click *REPLY on the last entry entered instead of posting a new comment to help keep the board in order.*

In case of repeat entries, the first entry will be used. Tokens you can win are randomly picked unless otherwise specified by the host.

Let's Saddle Up and Ride, it's Pony Up Time!!

Well done Patty.
Although the Jazz Singer is acclaimed as the first feature length "Talkie", it wasn't the first to use a soundtrack, several were premiered in Paris in 1900, it also only had limited sound sequences and was still mainly silent.
"Lights of New York" is a 1928 American crime drama, is the first all-talking full-length feature film. It was released by Warner Bros., who had introduced the first feature-length film with synchronized sound, "Don Juan", in 1926; and the first with spoken dialogue, The Jazz Singer, in 1927.

Twin beds are correct!
Censors wouldn't allow married couples to sleep in the same bed as they feared it would scandalize viewers. However, some of the first to sleep in the same bed were:
The Munsters
Fred and Wilma Flintstone
One of the first sitcoms to allow married couples in the same bed was The Brady Bunch! (however, let it be noted, a toilet was never shown in the bathroom.)

If you press down on the CTRL key while scrolling down on your mouse, you can see the image much better. Zoom in.
You are supposed to see a cat or a moose, depending on if you're left or right brained.
"Sharing the bizarre picture on Twitter, one man wrote: “Depending on how your brain works, (left or right brain) you'll either see a cat or a moose in this pattern."
“Whatever animal you see isn’t part of the image, it’s just an optical illusion created by your own brain."
Well, my brain couldn't create a moose for the life of me!! I did see a cat. I could also see where an eagle, owl or fox might be seen as posted by some. Look closer by zooming in and you might see a picture of a cartoon like cat head in the middle of the cat's forehead. Or if it just me?
If you press down on the CTRL key while scrolling down on your mouse, you can see the image much better. Zoom in.
You are supposed to see a cat or a moose, depending on if you're left or right brained.

A cat, the features aren't quite right for a big cat like a lion.
The human brain has developed to see such things as theeat avoidance. To then look in more detail to assess whether you are going to get eaten or not. In this case that threat seems unlikely

I can only see a glimpse of it for a second, and it looks like it could be a cat.

In the spirit of Christmas, you both will receive the Christmas token of your choice as it was so close!
You are correct! I had to sing the song in my head, too, first!
You'll go down in history.
