Backgammon player rejoice, we have just released more Backgammon variants for your playing pleasures! The following new variants are available: Tabula - this is an ancient game from the Roman Empire times, from which Backgammon evolved. Three dice, both players starting from the same side and moving in the same direction, and so on. Acey Deucey - also known as Dutch Backgammon, this variant has different initial placement and one very powerful combination - upon rolling 1/2, you can pick a number of your choice, play it four times, then move again. Moultezim - a variant popular in Turkey, with different movement directions, no captures and some other differences. Tourne-case - a variant which originated in France in the 17th century, using three pieces and rather different rules. Tawula - also known as Turkish Backgammon. The game rules for each game list the differences from the regular Backgammon at the bottom, if you already know Backgammon and don't want to read the full rules. Enjoy ! |
