I have made several adjustments and fixed some problems that were most likely causing the periodical one-minute slowness every hour. While it's too early to be sure if the changes helped as much as I hope to, first results look quite promising.

The move limit for guests with more than 30 games, mentioned in the newsletter, is now active! If you are a guest and have more than 30 active games, you will only be able to make 50 moves per day. As guests are restricted to 15 active games, this should not present any problems for normal playing.
