Well, the trouble call I placed with my ISP early this morning was finally answered (well after I had finally figured things out myself) by some genius who went in and started fixing things until they were broken. I called and bugged the receptionist to try to get the guy to leave well enough alone, and she told me that he had just dropped everything and gone home. She agreed to hand the job off to somebody more competent. I have a couple of funny emails from Mr. Clueless. I'd be laughing right now if I weren't so mad at him. Anyway, the second tech finally unfixed the things the first guy fixed, and our website is up again. Timeouts will be disabled today and tomorrow.
