Checkers is the only board game I know of that has world championships in several variants. The 'standard' 8x8 game (English Draughts), International Checkers 10x10, Brazilian Checkers and Russian Checkers. The Russian and Brazilian Championships are organized by Draughts-64.
Checkers' World Champions ('English Draughts')
