Backgammon Tournament Rules
Rules for Dream 's Backgammon Tournaments
Please read these rules carefullyFor those of you who have never played in a tournament before or are new to the site please go to [ How to play in a tournament ]
- These tournaments are open to all Goldtoken players
- Only 1 game is played per Round, winner only proceeds to Round 2 (except Double elim and Swiss tournys see below)
- Player 1 should invite, the game should have the correct time span, ie: 3 or 1 day loss of game
- If your invitation times out you win that round
- Please mention the tourny type when inviting ie: Fast tourny #1
- If a player times out during a game their opponent wins that round
- If your opponent has not invited you within the given time frame then they forfeit that round, and it is your choice whether you message to remind them or not
It is the players responsibility to check on the standings and invite within the time frame!!! Standings are on the wiki page and also announced at the discussion boards
- The loser of each game is to report the loss to me or if Wiki literate, to the relevant Wiki page, please mention the game type and opponents name, if you win and notice your name isn't up on the page please message me
- When reporting a loss to me its very important to list your opponent and also the particular tournament and round number, eg. Fast backgammon 1 round 1
- The draw is random
- Anyone found deliberately tampering with a Wiki page affecting player status will be DQed and banned from future tournaments
- Anyone abusing a player in a match will be disqualified, if this happens to you please copy and paste the offending dialog, game # and move number and send it to me
- My decision will be final in all cases
- Please keep an eye on the Wiki page for standings are start times as I don't have time to message all players
- If you change your ID please let me know ASAP, the changes are supposed to link to the Wiki pages but dont seem to be working
- Please sign up with your exact goldtoken ID
- And above all the idea is to enjoy :-}
