GoldToken's Monthly News

Thanks to Mecir, firefly, and all the players who helped test on GoldToken's beta site, http://beta.goldtoken.com/, December was a very exciting month for GoldToken players with several new features to enhance your playing fun! Hard to say just which is most exciting! Here is the list:

My favorite of the new additions is a game that has been in the works for the past 30 months and is the brain child of firefly, in conjunction with Mecir and myself. Xiphias. It can be a little difficult to play the first game, but once the game play is understood, is quite addictive! I especially love the multiple player Xiphias games, so send me an invite!

But the fun didn't stop there! firefly also created new Goldies to go with the new Xiphias game. Drone Soldier Captain Which is your favorite?

to the suggestion of Rebel Rider, GoldToken now offers Easy Keyboard Goldies to assist disabled players! To make an easy Goldie, type ; ; Goldiename ; ; Make sure there are no spaces.

Example... to make a hug, type ; ; hug ; ; and you should get Quicker for everyone! The normal method will continue to work, just don't mix the two.

I can not begin to explain how proud of GoldToken I am. It is to you, the players, who help make GoldToken what it is today. Hard economic times have befallen many, yet players adopted well over 200 guests out of their own pockets. Many also took advantage of sending a Site Invitation to their friends and relatives in GoldToken's give away promotion, adding another 100 Silver Members! This is all besides GoldToken's regular gift giving of (literally) hundreds of Silver memberships to active guests. This is a good practice to continue. It helps GoldToken grow and gives you more players to challenge. So if you have a friend/relative who is new to GoldToken, please invite them and write Matt or I a note, with their account info. We would love to give them a free Silver membership in your name to help get them started!

I am looking for a select few WebTV players who would like to help test their WebTV's on GoldToken's beta site at http://beta.goldtoken.com/. This will help ensure that our new features are WebTV compatible. The requirements are to play on the beta site regularly, work with our programmer and report any difficulties directly to him. If you are interested, write me personally. Please include your WebTV info, model etc. to help us ensure a variety of WebTV unit types are involved in testing.
