(#5593368) My latest wargaming project, WILD WEST adventures
Posted by Sir Wilfred of Ivanhoe on 6 Apr 2024 at 12:18PM
My current wargaming project is coming along nicely, it's a Wild West game between law dogs and desperadoes. I have 8 to 10 different sets of Wild West rules, however I'm currently using RUTHLESS, The Fastest Rules in the West by Mark Fastoso & Brian DeWitt. The rules are available online at no cost. I decided to make control panels to replace the paper character cards provided in the game. The control panel keeps track of each character's traits, ammunition and wounds due to hits. My youngest son has a CnC machine, we milled out six control panels in approximately two hours, it took him almost two hours to write the CAD files.
The first picture is of the RUTHLESS rules and my character control panel, the second picture is of the seven buildings that I'm currently scratch-building for my Wild West town of Saltwater.
