marcmandy Here is an instance where I can not make a move. I'm on the bar & need a 6 to get off the bar. I rolled 4332 as indicated in the Past Moves list. It's my turn and I'm going to make my move as to not hold up the game.

Moves # 7, 9, 18 & 20 for BigDaddyTuaine

I'm sorry I don't remember which game specifically. And looking at the game notations doesn't seem to help.

I've gotten a request for instances where this happened. Could you point me to game numbers?

I can't speak to the first, but on the second point, I don't think there's anything I can do to improve that...

Firstly, there have been a couple games where I got a turn with no legal move. Could these turns just be skipped? Secondly I find the red pieces on the red points a bit hard to see. Would be nice if they stood out a bit more.

I've just double checked the game that made me write the original post and I am mistaken. I thought I had been granted the wrong number of points but it is in fact correct. Thanks for the response.

Your first sentence is correct.
First place gets 4 points
Second place gets 2 points
Third place gets 1 point
Last place gets 0 points
This is also why the game doesn't end till third place has been decided

It looks like the points for placings in tournaments are 4,2,1,0 for 1st to 4th respectively. Is this applied correctly? I always get 4 pts if I finish first, and zero if I come last. But it looks like 2nd and 3rd place points are assigned randomly.
