I just renewed my membership, but I didn't get any vacation days added to my bank. Why not?
This is a very common question! The answer can be found on the Info page entitled Timeouts, Vacation Days, Days Off and Game Clock. Your membership level dictates how many vacation days are available to you in any 1-year period. If you are a Gold Member, you're entitled to 40 vacation days in any year. If you take vacation days on July 5, 6 & 7, August 14, and December 4, 2017, you will have those days "returned" to you on July 5, 6 & 7, August 14, and December 4, 2018. If you decreased your membership level, it's possible you'd have to wait longer to get days returned to you because the system would recognize that you've already used more than the allowed days for your current membership level.

I joined gt in February, 2001. I heard about this site from some folks at IYT.
I found this site to be friendly and less toxic than IYT, w reference to language and innuendos. Badger invited me to her club, the silver bullets ( I had no idea what that meant), but I joined anyway. As a newbie back then besides the games and new to Webtv I was a bit overwhelmed w notion of clubs, ladders and abbreviations ie brb, vgg, etc
Somehow I was appointed as nurse in the mental ward discussion board...a place for committed players, a fun place to be, if you like green jello.
In 2001 this was a much smaller site w perhaps 10 different games and 10 discussion boards...
being primarily bedridden this was a great place to spend free time. at one point in time I was club owner and president of about 8 gaming clubs, and had help from many members in running them, then I got a bit overloaded, and just wanted to play games and join others clubs and primarily without wikis.
well that's it I love the site, members and friendships that have developed here, I've seen members pass away, become grandparents and some to move on from GT.
If I've been here 16 years already, I'll probably remain another 16.. thanks for allowing me to be at about one of the greatest gaming sites on the internet, and stop by the mental ward when ever u feel a bit overwhelmed!!

If you decide to enter the world of blogging, you should decide what kind of blog you want your blog to be. What do you want to write about? Are you going to write about many things or something specific? Decide how often you are going to add entries, every day, once a week, once a month.
Once you have decided what you are going to write about, you need to think about how you are going to write it or enter it into your blog. Be it by text, by pictures, or even external links. A great blog will take advantage of all of the above things, your blog story or viewpoint can be enhanced and made much more enjoyable and interesting to read by the use of pictures and links.
Write about what you are passionate about, write about what you know and make sure you know what you are writing about. For the more serious bloggers, you won't be taken very seriously if your blog is full of grammar and spelling mistakes. So make sure you spellcheck.
No matter your blog content, people will continue to come back to read it as long as you continue to make it interesting.

What is GoldToken that I speak of so often, people ask me. Well let me see, where to begin. It's not only a game site, it's a place where I meet my friends. Friends from all over the world of all races, personalities and accents. Some I meet for a little while, some I've met for years and we've talked about the good times and the bad, also we help each other get thru what ever life hands us. Some have passed away that left a lasting impression on my life. GoldToken is somewhere that I go everyday unless I'm caught up in my personal life and can't visit. It's a place that helps me forget my troubles and dive my brain into playing lots of fun games and discussions. I can say, GoldToken is part of my family. The SURPRISE is.... I've been here now for 14 years! Boy does time fly when you're having fun!

There is one club here at GOLDTOKEN which has more players on its club ladders than on the site ladders - The Prehistoric Poker Club, which plays 5 card draw ( called CAVEMAN ) and Texas Holdem ( called Cromagnum holdem ) .

The hoot's hide-a-way Club was started in September 2004 by hoot who says she’s from Hooterville, USA. The name conveys “...a place to meet old friends and make new ones,to just hide-a-way from all the pressures of today’s world and sit back and relax awhile and to enjoy what we already have!”
The club hasn’t changed much since beginning and they play most of the games offered on GT, with one difference, “We do mostly wiki games that I create. Not many Tournaments like other clubs.” Her goal for the future is “Just to continue creating interesting challenges.” The most important thing to her about having a club is “My members, that have become friends.”
The hoot's hide-a-way Club is open to everyone, just go to the home page and click “yes” to join.

gt familyI joined gt in February, 2001. I heard about this site from some folks at IYT.
I found this site to be friendly and less toxic than IYT, w reference to language and innuendos. Badger invited me to her club, the silver bullets ( I had no idea what that meant), but I joined anyway. As a newbie back then besides the games and new to Webtv I was a bit overwhelmed w notion of clubs, ladders and abbreviations ie brb, vgg, etc
Somehow I was appointed as nurse in the mental ward discussion board...a place for committed players, a fun place to be, if you like green jello.
In 2001 this was a much smaller site w perhaps 10 different games and 10 discussion boards...
being primarily bedridden this was a great place to spend free time. at one point in time I was club owner and president of about 8 gaming clubs, and had help from many members in running them, then I got a bit overloaded, and just wanted to play games and join others clubs and primarily without wikis.
well that's it I love the site, members and friendships that have developed here, I've seen members pass away, become grandparents and some to move on from GT.
If I've been here 16 years already, I'll probably remain another 16.. thanks for allowing me to be at about one of the greatest gaming sites on the internet, and stop by the mental ward when ever u feel a bit overwhelmed!!

A great blog will take advantage of all of the above things, your blog story or viewpoint can be enhanced and made much more enjoyable and interesting to read by the use of pictures and links.
Write about what you are passionate about, write about what you know and make sure you know what you are writing about. For the more serious bloggers, you won't be taken very seriously if your blog is full of grammar and spelling mistakes. So make sure you spellcheck.
No matter your blog content, people will continue to come back to read it as long as you continue to make it interesting.

The hoot's hide-a-way Club was started in September 2004 by hoot who says she’s from Hooterville, USA. The name conveys “...a place to meet old friends and make new ones,to just hide-a-way from all the pressures of today’s world and sit back and relax awhile and to enjoy what we already have!”
The club hasn’t changed much since beginning and they play most of the games offered on GT, with one difference, “We do mostly wiki games that I create. Not many Tournaments like other clubs.” Her goal for the future is “Just to continue creating interesting challenges.” The most important thing to her about having a club is “My members, that have become friends.”
