An overused term, in my opinion.
Listen...I totally believe in climate change. It's hard to deny it when we see it all around us. However, I also believe that it's a cyclic event...that it happens (and has happened) numerous times throughout the history of this planet, and for that matter, all planets in the universe. Mother earth is in control and if we think that mankind can do anything about climate change then we give ourselves far too much credit. Climate change will happen, regardless of our efforts to curb it.
As for fake news, it's not fake. It's happening, so how is it fake?
